Las Palmas de Gran Canaria's main bypass has returned to full operation after the completion of intensive waterproofing work on the Guiniguada viaduct, removing the most disruptive August diversion on one of Gran Canaria's most important north-south road links.
The GC-3 Circunvalacion reopened in both directions during the afternoon and evening of Monday, 17 August, following 16 days of phased work across the two bridge decks. Why the Guiniguada viaduct closure mattered
