Description
Not every Tenerife sailing holiday begins in the south. Turrun Turrun departs from Marina Santa Cruz and has space for friends or family to enjoy the sailing, cook together and relax in the shade between outings.
If you like the idea of setting off from Santa Cruz, Turrun Turrun is a welcoming base for a sailing break on Tenerife. There is shade beneath the bimini for lingering over lunch and music through speakers inside and outside. The galley has a fridge, oven and cooker, so sharing meals is part of the pleasure rather than something you have to arrange ashore.
Built in 2017, this Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 419 sleeps six guests in three double cabins. Two more can sleep in the lounge, bringing the listed capacity to eight, though that means using shared space at night. Two bathrooms with showers make getting ready easier, and solar panels are a useful practical extra.
On deck, the bathing platform and outside shower come in handy for a swim when conditions permit. If you have the right sailing experience, you can enquire about taking the helm yourself; ECC Yacht will need to approve your licence. A professional skipper is also available. Send us your dates and group size, and we will help you request availability.

Why choose this yacht
The departure point is a good reason to consider Turrun Turrun: she starts at Marina Santa Cruz rather than one of Tenerife's southern bases. Three double cabins and two bathrooms also make a comfortable fit for six friends who want to keep the lounge free for evenings together.
Who is this yacht for?
Three couples or a family of six can sleep in the double cabins, while a group of up to eight can use the two extra beds in the shared lounge. If you hire a skipper, discuss the total number on board and sleeping arrangements before booking.
What to expect
The classic mainsail and autopilot provide a practical sailing setup, with an outside GPS plotter and bow thruster for the crew. A bimini offers shade, while the bathing platform and outside shower are useful at suitable swimming stops. A dinghy is on board; its engine is an extra.
Before you go
Indicative rental rates start from EUR 282 per day; the final quote depends on your dates. Mandatory charges are EUR 190 for final cleaning per rental, EUR 30 for gas per rental and EUR 20 tourist tax per person per week. The separate refundable security deposit is EUR 3,000 per rental. A professional skipper is optional at EUR 215 per day. To sail without a hired skipper, the charter company, ECC Yacht, must approve your sailing licence and experience. Ask about fuel, mooring fees and other extras with your quote.
