Custom Built 40 Kristiane – Catamaran Rental from Playa Blanca

Description

Kristiane is for groups who want to share a day on the water rather than book an overnight yacht. Based at Puerto de Playa Blanca on Lanzarote, this custom-built catamaran offers open-air space for relaxing, a little shade and the simple pleasure of spending time together at sea.

Custom Built 40 Kristiane is a catamaran built in 1994 and based at Puerto de Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. At 12.25 metres long with a 7.5-metre beam, it offers a broad deck layout for a private daytime outing. The supplier lists a maximum of 12 guests on a day charter, making it an option for friends or a family group who would rather travel together than split between smaller boats.

Outside, a bimini provides shade and sun pads offer a place to relax when the catamaran is at rest. There is an outside shower, an audio system with outdoor speakers and snorkelling sets in the equipment list. For refreshments, the boat has a fridge, freezer, sink and kitchen utensils. There is one toilet aboard. These are practical day-trip facilities, not the separate cabins or full accommodation of a cruising yacht: Kristiane has no listed guest berths, so it should not be sold as an overnight stay.

Kristiane carries a classic mainsail, a listed gennaker, solar panels and an outside GPS plotter. Catamaran F40Lanzarote describes its offer as skipper-led, with skipper, fuel and transit log highlighted among the inclusions. It also advertises kayak and stand-up paddleboard use, although these are not separately confirmed in the equipment data. Enquire for your preferred date and group size, and request written confirmation of the skipper arrangement, included activities and final price.

Why choose this yacht

The attraction is having a private catamaran sized for a daytime group of up to 12, with room to sit outside, a shaded area and an onboard toilet. It is especially relevant when your priority is a shared outing rather than private sleeping cabins.

Who is this yacht for?

Friends, families or other private groups of up to 12 planning a day charter from Playa Blanca. The boat has no listed sleeping berths, so it is not a suitable overnight accommodation option.

What to expect

Before you go

The supplier lists a starting charter rate of €540 per day. No mandatory paid extras or refundable security deposit amount are specified. A dinghy with engine is offered as an optional extra for €100 per rental, and flexible cancellation is priced at 8% of the rental amount. The supplier's FAQ describes a skipper-only arrangement and highlights a skipper, fuel, transit log, kayak, paddleboard and deposit insurance as included; however, the structured charter-mode fields are unconfirmed. Catamaran F40Lanzarote should verify the permitted operating arrangement, skipper service, equipment inclusions, deposit conditions and full price before you book. No independently operated bareboat option is confirmed.
