Costa Adeje High Performance Paragliding Flight

Choose the Performance Flight if scenic airtime matters more than acrobatic manoeuvres. Compared with a shorter standard tandem, the extra time gives the pilot more opportunity to use thermals and extend the flight over Costa Adeje. Transport from the meeting point to the launch area is already included, so you do not need to arrange the mountain transfer yourself.

Best for first-time or returning tandem passengers who want a longer scenic flight over Costa Adeje and are comfortable with a weather-dependent outdoor activity. It suits couples, solo travellers and older children who can follow the pilot’s instructions and run a few steps during take-off. The operator currently states a minimum age of 6 and usually works with passenger weights of roughly 30–100 kg, subject to conditions and pilot approval.

Choose an acrobatic flight if spins, wingovers and stronger sensations are the main reason you want to fly. Choose a shorter standard tandem if you mainly want a first taste of paragliding or prefer selected-area hotel pickup. Skip this activity if you cannot run a few steps during take-off, are pregnant, or have a medical condition for which the operator recommends prior medical advice. It is not currently listed as wheelchair accessible.

Before launch, the instructor gives a safety briefing and fits the tandem equipment. The flight usually takes off from the Taucho/Costa Adeje area, with the precise launch point depending on weather and operational conditions.

The tandem flight lasts approximately 20–30 minutes. When usable thermals are present, the pilot can gain or maintain altitude and extend the scenic flight above Barranco del Infierno, Roque del Conde and the Costa Adeje coastline.

Route, altitude, launch point, landing plan and actual airtime are weather-dependent. Photos and videos are not included but may be available to purchase separately.
